About us
We're a small team of ex-team-sport people — coaches, selectors, and a couple of parents who spent one too many seasons chasing paper rosters — who got tired of running tryouts and squad selections out of spreadsheets, sticky notes, and group chats. SquaddyPaddy started as a private tool we built for ourselves, and it grew into a full coaching workspace we now share with programs, clubs, and academies everywhere.
Our mission is simple: give the people who build teams a place to think clearly. Selection decisions carry real weight for the athletes on the other end of them, and they deserve to be made with structure, not guesswork. SquaddyPaddy exists to turn tryouts, camps, and seasonal planning into a process you can actually see, revisit, and defend.

Privacy policy

SquaddyPaddy was built on one non-negotiable rule: your coaching data is yours alone. This policy explains, in plain language, what that means in practice.
None. SquaddyPaddy does not collect any personal or athlete information whatsoever. There are no user accounts, no sign-ups, no names, emails, or phone numbers sent to us, and no location or device data gathered in the background. Everything you enter — athlete profiles, tryout notes, attendance records, evaluation scores, season roadmaps, session plans, and checklists — is created and stored by you, for you, inside the app itself.
Because nothing is collected, nothing is used, analyzed, aggregated, or sold. There is no data pipeline running behind the scenes. Every feature — selection stages, eligibility tracking, milestone tracking, template building, and progress records — runs entirely on your device, using only the information you've typed in.
All of your data — athlete profiles, evaluation history, camp workflows, coaching notes, and project archives — is stored locally on the device where SquaddyPaddy is installed. There is no cloud database, no remote server, and no account to sync to. Nothing you create ever leaves your phone or tablet unless you personally choose to export or share it.
SquaddyPaddy does not embed third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs of any kind. No outside company receives information from your use of the app, because no information is transmitted anywhere in the first place.
Since your records never travel over a network or sit on a server we control, the biggest security question is simply the security of your own device. We design every feature — from selection boards to season templates — to work entirely on-device, which keeps your exposure to the outside world as close to zero as an app can get.
SquaddyPaddy is often used to organize youth programs, and we take that seriously. No personal information is collected from anyone, of any age, including athletes under 13. Because there is no collection at all, there is nothing to safeguard beyond your own device — SquaddyPaddy is built to be COPPA-friendly by design, not by policy alone.
You are always the sole administrator of your data. There are no cloud backups, no linked accounts, and no copies held anywhere by us. If you delete an athlete profile, a project, or the app itself, that information is gone — completely and permanently, exactly as you'd expect from something that only ever lived on your device.
We may update this policy as SquaddyPaddy adds new features or as legal requirements evolve. The Effective Date at the top will always reflect the most recent version, and we encourage you to check back occasionally.
